A 2 hour "death match" on an island. Courtesy of Wikipedia Saito wrestled mainly in Japan, where he became involved in a feud with Antonio Inoki. To settle the feud, the two competed in an Island Death match on October 4, 1987. They were placed on Ganryujima Island and wrestled a match that lasted two hours and spread across the island. Ultimately, Inoki was victorious, defeating Saito by technical knockout. I can't even sit through 10 minutes of this.

That's Mr. Saito, as in Mr. Fuli and Mr. Saito isn't it? The same guy that got arrested with Patera? Is this boring as hell, or what?
I got some running to do today early, but I'll check it out when I get home.
EDIT:
Yeah, that's definitely Mr. Saito, and this was definitely boring. It was 20 minutes of footage before they even got in the ring. Some decent wrestling once it got going, but I couldn't sit through all of it.
Fast forwarded to the end, and at some point they both got bloodied. Watched Inoki choke Saito out it looked like for the win.
I can't believe this went on for over 2 hours.

Seeing how you all described this, I'm not even going to try to watch this. The whole idea is wretched, and the fact that is went on for so long is mind boggling.

Lol, no. I doubt he even got hurt much, lol. Well, not in this match at least. Seeing how you all described this, I'm not even going to try to watch this. The whole idea is wretched, and the fact that is went on for so long is mind boggling. I felt bad for the guys filming it and doing commentary, at least I could fast forward, lol.
