I don't think I've ever asked you guys, if you actually game much, and if you do what you play on. So do you? And what do you play on if so? I have a bunch of consoles, mostly old ones. I do have the 360, GameCube and PS2 in the bedroom. Lately though, I've been playing a lot on my PC. The Walking Dead, some older games I've had forever, like FEAR, Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi, DOOM 3, Chutulu: Dark Corners of the Earth, stuff like that. Oh, and if I can ever stop being a wuss, Slender and Nightmare House 2. Even when I play Madden on the 360 anymore, it's usually through my PC monitor cause we always have something on TV one of us wants to see. The wife plays RE 4 exclusively on the GameCube, and we like Tetris Plus on the PS2 once in a while. I'd love to have a rig like this... But, I don't have it like that and probably never will. Happy I have what I do actually, all things considered. At least I don't have a setup like this, lol. What about you guys? Gamers or what?

I have two TVs and a laptop set up for gaming. (Add Lyrikah on steam!) The living room TV has a ps3, Dreamcast and Saturn. The bedroom TV has another PS3, a modded wii to use as an emulation system, a modded Saturn to play imports and a lone ps2 to play the few games that don't run on my backwards compatable ps3 (Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner and Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne to name a few).

Never bit on the PS3 just because I though the lack of backwards compatibility was BS. But, in hind sight it would have been a better system to have than the 360. I'm on my second one, not because of the red rings, but because the disk tray pulled right out in my hand.
You need XBox live Gold to do anything on there really. Play anyone online, stream NetFlix, anything. And of course you pay for that. And no BluRay.
I got my first 360 as a present from an old boss, but when it died I should have gotten a PS3.

If you could, you could always get an older model and swap out the hard drives to get more storage (It's really easy, easier than modding that damned Wii which took me DAYS.) I did that with the MGS4 PS3 and it's still alive and kicking. Could never figure out why it wouldn't play only those two games and one other disk. It's like it's picking on me.

I'd really like to mod our Wii, especially considering it's a soft mod and you don't have to open it up or anything. But I've never done anything like that and my wife uses the Wii fit everyday. If I messed it up somehow, especially with no money at the moment to replace it, I think that would be borderline divorce reason for her. Anyway, found these of the dungeon...er bedroom, so I figured I'd post em. Where I live most of the time I'm home. Either online or playing the majority of my games, this is the spot. The TV and the Guitar hero controllers. Man, I haven't played that in a long time. Should probably just take those down. The wires, the wires??!! Oh, and my old ass flip flops I've had since I think 2006. Hey, they still get the job done. Also, my 360 and the skinned out "HellCube" there as well. Some art I got somewhere from someone... Just kidding, definitely some of most prized possessions, and I can't wait to add to the collection!! Nothing screams hi tech PC like a game of Free Cell going on, yeah? My wife's laptop. Screaming fast and would probably smoke my system in a benchmark test, but modest looking. It's what's under the hood that counts. Next on Dave's Dungeon, we'll explore the den, lol.

The Wii mod is irritating, especially if you're looking to put on translated Japanese games on there. I'd recommend either paying VERY close attention to the instructions or finding someone to do it for you. The easiest mod to get on there is the Wii game emulator so you wouldn't have to worry about her not being able to use the Wii fit, but there is still the problem of the actual modding so I understand.

Yeah, I'm not messing with the Wii. It would be very bad for me if I screwed it up. And since it would be so bad, I have no doubt that I would screw it up. Just how it works for me.

A shame I can't just do it for you. I still have all the files I need to mod a wii and put in ALMOST EVERY GAME KNOWN TO MAN (I'm exaggerating but there are so many.) You'd just have to make sure you back up your files so if you did mess up you wouldn't lose anything.

The Wii mod is worth it just for the Japanese wrestling games where you can play as the ultimate legend...JOHNNY ACE!
Back in NY I had 2 original, functioning NES', an SNES and Sega Genesis. Right now in Florida I had my t.v. shipped so I could play my ps3. Been hooked on Borderlands 2.

I have 2 working SNES', found one outside thrown out in the box. THE BOX! You know I took that ish home (all of 3 feet). Wish someone threw some games out as well. If anything, could have pawned them off.

Once we get back on our feet and some bills paid off, I may just buy a used one and do it. That way if I mess it up, I'll be the only one mad at me.

It's easy to avoid bricking the system (almost impossible actually) as long as you follow the directions. Trust me, it really isn't hard unless you're working with translated games because you need the right patches. If you need any help when you get around to it, just let me know.
