Ok, cool. Thanks. I make things way harder than they are sometimes, and this sounds like it would be one of those times.

There's the Dolphin emulator that I could install on my PC to play any Wii game I want. Never installed this, but I have installed the PSX and PS2 emulators before and they weren't tough. Ever use that lyrikah?

No I haven't, the only Wii emulator I have used is the one for when you mod your actual Wii so you don't have to go through the convoluted method of rebooting it in "wii" mode. (It's not actually difficult, it's just feels like it is when you're not used to it.)

So, is the Playstation online thing going to a paid feature now? That was the one thing I really liked about a PS3 as opposed to the XBox. That and the PS3 plays BluRay.

There is a paid online feature, but you can stick with the free one if you want. That's what I"m doing.

Better deal than Microsoft's thing. I can't even update my Madden roster without paying for Gold. I'd probably be a much better player if the QB for my team hadn't retired 3 years ago, lol.

I can get some free demos on the 369, but most stuff you have to pay for. I think it's crap that I spend $60 an Madden and can't even update the roster unless I pay for Xbox live. Stuff like that should be free.

I find that annoying too. I don't really have a problem with my free online, so I don't find Playstation Plus to be that useful for me.

See, that's what Microsoft should do. A basic setup for free, so you can download updates and play online etc., and then a tier that gives you more benefits. Upgrading characters, adding DLC, that type of stuff. Sony has the right idea, and I can't believe Microsoft doesn't have this, just to compete with them.
It almost makes buying a new Madden game redundant after the first month or so of owning it since the rosters change so much, unless you pay for XBox live gold. It's BS.

I agree with you. Some people really don't play online that much, so having to pay just to get upgrades is completely wasteful. I only really play with my friends, so all that extra stuff might as well not exist in my eyes. Just let me upgrade what I need and play with who I want.
