Salo was boring. I guess for the time it was extreme, but seeing it last year it was nothing special.
I want to see Antichrist after learning about it last week, same with Peeping Tom. I have numbers 1 and 2, and plan on seeing/owning more on that list.

I guess those are the only ones I haven't seen really. But, the rest aren't especially controversial. They may have been when they were released i guess, but not now. No one even bats an eye at Freaks anymore, and that's probably the most controversial on the list. If you're going by real standards, and not horror movie standards. Heck, that isn't even really a horror movie, but more a story of revenge. Good one too.

I watched Anti-christ. It was terrible. Tolerable at best. It was slow, mostly boring film that just didn't ever really seem to be going anywhere until the last bit of movie where all the graphic violence takes place. I never EVER, EVER needed or wanted to see Willam Dafoe's penis whilst ejaculating. Thanks a lot Lars Von Trier. I also don't really consider it a horror movie at all but maybe that's just me. I enjoyed reading the synopsis of the film, but watching it...not so much.

I wonder why he thought anyone would enjoy seeing that? Definitely qualifies the film as disturbing though.

See Dafoe in a dress in Boondock Saints f*cked me up, I don't know what seeing his junk would do to me.

It would scar you down to your very soul. As for why? He's Lars Von Trier, he gives no faks and does whatever he wants whenever he wants.

Man, I'd love to get a copy of The Devils. There is a DVD release as of now, but I'm reading mostly terrible reviews about the quality of it and I ain't springing for a multi-region to see the UK release of it.
Peeping Tom is classic. I need to own that movie. Absolutely brilliant film and it's a shame it killed the director's career. People were just not ready for a movie like that.

I Spit On Your Grave and Salo are absolute garbage. I agree. I know I attacked Last house on the left as well but the last part of it is great to bad the rest was horrid and sick. Hills have eyes has a pretty sick rape scene in it but its quick and not emphasized as in ISOYG.

I thought the original Last House was horrible. Just a ish movie with a poor choice of music. Glad Craven got most of mistakes out of the way early on.
