Half of I Spit on Your Grave is the rape scene. At that point, it's not even a movie anymore.

I liked it, lol. To each their own I guess. But, I liked how she systematically takes each of them out. Wasn't the best as far as effects, but for a 70's movie I thought it was pretty brutal and a good twist with the revenge aspect. Not a whole lot different than Last House on the Left, except her parents didn't get involved in the revenge killings. Meh, not a favorite of mine, but I like it.

I watched most of salo on youtube. I was bored out of my mind for most of it. However, I could nt get past seeing all those people sat around in their sunday best having polite conversations whilst people were being whipped, tortured and eating poo in the same room. last house bothered me a bit. people being humiliated for the gratification of others bothers me. Its why I dont like rape scenes. The bit where she has to wet herself? yuk andd I dont like the disembowling bit either. stuff like that does nt usually bother me, but it does in this film. antichrist looks like it should be on my list of must see movies, mainly because it looks so bizarre. and for the record, I dont think I will ever see william defoe in the same light again. definatly agree with number 1. i know a few of you are fond of cannibal holocause, but I hate it with a passion. >shudder<

My opinion on Willam Dafoe never changed it was just one of those things that felt really gratuitous and unnecessary much like most of the film itself.

I much preferred the remake of I Spit on Your Grave. The rape scene wasn't half the film and the payback felt so much more satisfying.

I liked it OK. I like the original better, I'm just weird like that. This one, The Last House on the Left, The Little Girl The Lives Down the Lane. I like all of those type of movies from the 70's. Maybe because that's when I was just getting into horror and my sister would let me watch them or take me to the movies on occasion.

The rape scene was so poorly done that it was laughable. It was also too damn long, so I ended up just fast forwarding most of it.
I enjoyed both versions of Last House on the Left, each for different reasons.
