Did it backwards and watched 2 first. I love that movie, Jessie dancing always makes me laugh. Following it up now with the original. Still one of the best movies ever to me. So much scary ish in this one, a true classic.

Caught the original at a midnight viewing. It was glorious. Loved every minute of it.

I bet seeing it on the big screen again was great. I wish we had that type of thing around here.

For me, it was the first time. It was really great. That scene with the blood geyser... I loved it.

Hey, I had security called on me because I was laughing too much once at 2 AM. So f*ck them. We're civil, but we ain't gonna be hanging out anytime soon. And I still watch my TV loud at 4 in the morning. Like now.

My hearing is shot from years of concerts, so I HAVE to have that ish loud. Plus, what's better than screams and explosions as loud volume? Not many things.

Movies just aren't meant to be at low volume. I need to hear everything. The wife hates it sometimes, but there's a reason surround sound systems were made.

I'm prepping myself for movie in with my fiance, and I'm sure she'll give me hell for the volume I'll have my movies. Oh well, what can you do?

I always work it like this with my wife...if it's a new movie we've never seen, it's gonna be loud. Through the receiver and turned up. If it's one we've seen, but it's been a while... not so loud I need to hear their pants move, but loud enough that I don't miss anything important.
If it's one we see all the time, she can set it to whatever.
She seems OK with this, and it's not every day I'm watching a new movie, so I don't feel like I'm taking advantage. Keeps the arguments at a minimum too.
