A Texas man whose two young sons were struck and killed by a drunk driver, is now accused of shooting the driver on the scene. www.foxnews.com/us/2013/02/11/father-2-texas-brothers-killed-in-accident-charged-with-murdering-suspected/?intcmp=obinsiteDamn, looks like everybody lost in this one. I hope they at least show the guy some leniency during sentencing if he's found guilty. As a father, I can kind of understand the mind set, especially in the heat of the moment. It doesn't change what happened or make what the father did right, but I'm sure that was the last thing on his mind. Feel bad for all of them.

In that moment, grief and impulse took over. I think anyone in his situation would have acted violently towards the drunken driver, though maybe not as severe. A terrible story all around.

Yeah. I'm gonna follow this one to see what happens when the father goes to court for this. I would think a good lawyer would try to prove temporary insanity in something like this, which probably wouldn't be far off the mark.

Indeed, terrible story all around, but who would not get mad at that?

I can definitely understand the anger. That's a rough spot to be in. Hard to say how anyone would react in his position. I just hope all that is taken into consideration.

I think in most cases, any Father would have beaten the ish out of him at the bare minimum.
