“ With her narrative feature debut, Xan Cassavetes (Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession) has crafted a stylish and sensory visual and aural experience that recalls the best of smart and racy European genre films from the 60s and 70s. KISS OF THE DAMNED is the story of Djuna (Joséphine de La Baume), a beautiful vampire who tries to resist the advances of the handsome, human screenwriter Paulo (Milo Ventimiglia), but eventually gives in to temptation. When her troublemaker sister Mimi (Roxane Mesquida) arrives unexpectedly, Djuna’s love story is threatened and the whole vampire community becomes endangered.” www.horror-movies.ca/2013/02/new-red-band-trailer-for-kiss-of-the-damned/
On Demand this March, and then a limited theater run in May.

Kind of an old school Hammer style poster, I liked that right away. Not much into vampire movies, but I may watch this one.

I like vampires, though they aren't my favorite. This one looks like it has a good story, plus it appears to be chock full of nudity and gore. That's enough to pull me in.

Just watched this a few hours ago. Not bad. It's well filmed, the effects are good, interesting characters and a decent amount of nudity.
It doesn't exactly make vampires cool again (there is a lot of damage to repair), but it certainly does make them sexy.

So worth watching, I take it? I'm not huge on vampires, but I'd give it a go.

Yeah, I'd say it's worth a look. It starts off great, slows down a bit about 1/3 of the way through but picks up steam again shortly after. Overall, a well made film.
