This is The Walking Dead game from Activision where you play as either Daryl or Merle Dixon. And for as good as Telltale Games Walking Dead game was, this one sounds like it's the exact opposite. I haven't read one good review of this one yet, and that's too bad. Most reviews say that they really screwed up with the zombie AI. How can you manage that? They're dead and they want to eat you, nonstop. I haven't played even a demo, and I doubt I will. Glad I didn't just run out and get it. The final quote of one review... "The overall experience feels as if the developers almost gave a damn when they were drafting the project at its inception, but couldn’t care less when they were actually developing it. Beginning to end, Survival Instinct is an unrewarding drag that fails to impress on any level. Even fundamentals that should be easy to get right, like hitboxes and jumping, feel extremely sloppy, as if this project was made in a weekend, and the length, less than three hours if you ignore half of the side missions, also reflects this. This game sucks. Just…it sucks." www.thegamingvault.com/2013/03/review-the-walking-dead-survival-instinct-multi/

I saw a trailer for this recently. That end shot of Merle was creepy as f*ck. Wish I had a system to play this on.

I had a feeling it wasn't going to be too good. They haven't even put up a demo to try it, so they must have known that if anybody played it, they would know to steer clear of the game.
I did try a demo of the Telltales game and enjoyed that, so I'll be purchasing the full version of it at some point.

The Telltale game is great. Very unconventional for a video game the way it's set up. But, you really get attached to the characters, some maybe too much, lol.

It's a very different way to play a game, that's for sure. It took a few moments to get used to, but once I accepted that it's basically an interactive story, I got really into it.

I'm gonna wait a bit on it, but considering they have the whole thing for only $20, I'd say that's a damn good deal.

It did so good, they're considering doing more. Almost like seasons, but with the game. I'm all for it.

They really did a great job on it from what I hear. The game got universal praise and it was considered the best download game of the year. Some even said it was game of the year overall. From what I played, I can see why.

I never played the demo, went right for the game itself, so I don't know how in depth it got. But some of the decisions you make are messed up, and in turn determine how the game progresses. It really makes you think...hard. The replay value is very high as well.

Yeah. Since your decisions help shape the story at large, one choice can entirely change the direction of the game. I can only imagine how many different scenarios there are overall.

Solid review.
It's sometimes tough to make even small decisions, so when the big ones only gives you a few seconds to decide, that's gotta be nerve wracking.
