Two explosions went off at the finish of the Boston Marathon just a bit ago, and now I've read that another occurred at JFK Library. 2 people confirmed dead right now, and many hurt. Reading that some suffered amputation of limbs. Still going nuts in the news, but last I read the Boston police had a suspect on camera carrying several backpacks in the area of the explosions. linkWhat a crazy, f***ed up world man. Just nuts.

I have a feeling this is a local dipshit terrorist a la the Unibomber.

Maybe. It's getting so you can't go anywhere without worrying about getting killed. When I lost my beer manager job, one of my biggest regrets was losing dibs on tickets to the Redskins games. I think I'd rather see them at home nowadays. I think I'll stay home for everything from now on.

Can't live in fear. Live cautiously, but you can't live in fear.

I prefer to call it living. I mean, the trash cans blew up. I can be all kinds of cautious, but I can't pick out a trash can with a bomb in it. It's only a matter of time before this happens at a pro football game, and with the Skins being in DC...I'll watch the game from home.
My wife showed me a picture of a guy today who had both his legs blown off in this Boston thing. That tore me up, and made me think... I'd really like to make sure that doesn't happen to me or my family.

I saw that picture, too. Gonna stick with me for a while.
It's crazy what happened.

Just nuts man. One of the 2 dead was an 8 year old. I can't imagine how devastated the parents must be. I can't believe something so terrible just happened out of nowhere like this. Really sick.

I just can't get that image of that guy out of my head, He wasn't bothering anyone. Just think of how different his life is now, and how, had he lost the keys or something, it may not have changed at all. Life's a blast sometimes, literally.

I also saw that image of the guy with his legs blown off. That was an awful sight. I really hope they catch whoever is responsible for this horrific crime and punish them severely.

Just got work a bit ago and heard on the news that the FBI has identified a suspect in this. They're supposed to make and announcement today at 5.

Hopefully they catch whoever did this as quickly as possible. I would hate to think of something like this happening again.

Got the surviving brother responsible for the bombings tonight. Got him alive too, which they wanted so they could just ask him why. Glad it's over and props to the authorities on getting him so quick.

Hope there aren't more of them.

I think that was another big part of getting him alive, to find out. They don't think there are anymore, at least not affiliated with these two. Seems like the older brother that was killed became radical and more then likely influenced the younger brother.
The phone calls to their dad from the news were sad, he couldn't believe it and kept imploring the younger brother to turn himself in and come home. He wouldn't accept what they had done and just thought his son could walk away and just leave. This guy's going up for murder, terrorism, maiming, and anything else they can think of. Almost be better for him if he died.

Death is too quick and too good for him. He deserves to suffer.
