"THE TELL TALE HEART remains true to the original insofar as the story’s protagonist is tormented by the still-beating heart of the old vulture-eyed man he murdered and buried beneath the floorboards of his residence." link

It's a great story, but how do you go about making it 90 minutes without adding a bunch of unneeded nonsense? I highly doubt this will be good.

I don't see how you make this an hour and half movie either. And, I like Rose McGowan. I thought she was was hot back in the day and loved her in Scream. It just seems like she's in any crap that comes along nowadays. I don't have high hopes for this one either.

This story is perfect for an anthology. Make one for a few of Poe's stories and you could have a pretty good film.

I would love to see some Poe stories updated and presented as an anthology. A lot of his work is great, but short. Even the longer, full movies could be shortened and added to a series like this.

It seems like such a simple idea, doesn't it? So simple and good in fact, that no film maker will ever try it.

It's a shame, a movie like that would be awesome.
