Lynn Hart is a disturbed young woman who escapes from a mental hospital where she was committed for killing her abusive father who raped her. Stealing a nurse's uniform and car, Lynn ends up in a small California town where she meets and shacks up with Zambrini, an old farmer who runs the local motel and roadside café. Zambrini also owns a group of pigs that he keeps in a pen behind his house who have somehow developed a taste for human flesh. When Lynn begins killing a number of men who remind her of her dead father, Zambrini helps her out by disposing of the bodies to the pigs. Investigating the disappearances, the local sheriff eventually becomes suspicious of Lynn's past and a private investigator, hired by the hospital to find her, slowly close in on Lynn.
I don't know if all versions have the weird, sporadic looping throughout the movie, but this is a really great movie. Reminds me of Psycho, except reversed. This is definitely one to watch.

It was called Pigs, you would have given me the go ahead to watch, like Frogs, and the one with the killer baboon.

How is that? This one has a good storyline ... mental institutions and such ... did you watch the killer baboon or frogs? Just cause it's called something with an animal doesn't mean anything If I watch some of it and like it ...

DBA, I think you're the only person who has ever said this was a great movie. Everyone else who talks about it hates it. I don't know if I trust you...

Ha ha!! Well, I like some stuff that would make most cringe, so I'll stay out of it.

Well, if it helps DBA out any ... he checked out bits and pieces of alice in murderland and couldn't figure out why I was watching it even though he knew I was sitting through it because of the alice in wonderland theme. lol He's much better at picking out better horror movies when we're out thrift and flea market shopping for sure! Although I hope it wasn't that good...he needs to stick to his shark movies!

There are some good animal themed movies, just not too many. I don't know that I want to sit through this one.

Brooke Hogan's finest hour. That movie was the bomb.

LOL Yes, her finest hour! Yet, I think I'd rather watch reruns of Parker Lewis can't lose...I'm sure DBA can give you a huge list of the animal movies! I don't mind some of them. In fact, he played one that turned out to be really good and I was just noticing the jeepers creepers blu-ray (which I guess we can classify as a animal/monster type movie) which I did love.

It was definitely better than Two-Headed Shark Attack. I'd still rather watch Sharktopus though. That was hilarious.
