Scream Factory does it again. This one will be out September 24th. No word yet on the extras that will come with it, but I'm sure they'll be pretty awesome. The art is pretty sweet anyway, and I like this movie.

Never seen this one before, though I have heard about it. Would you say it's worth a purchase, Dave?

It would be for me, one of my favorites growing up. It's awful and full of cheese and Donald Pleasence overacts his ass off, but I like it. Plus it's Carpenter and Alice Cooper is in it. Can't miss.

Alice Cooper, Donald Pleasence, and Victor Wong?! Consider it bought!

Part of one of the best spirtual trilogies ever. The Apocalypse Trilogy. There's this, John Carpenter's The Thing, and In the Mouth of Madness. Great stuff.
I love Prince of Darkness. I don't think it's too cheesy, or too gimmicky. Although, the use of video is dated, but it was something new at the time. Videodrome being the quintessential commentary on that format, for me at least.
This is a scary movie. The effects are well done as well. I do love Victor Wong. He will be missed. As will Donald Pleasence.
