- first-person melee combat - 4 player co-op - weapon customization - set on an open world tropical island - RPG elements for character development - hordes of gruesome zombies
I assume you play as one person trying to survive this island i dont think its so much like final fantasy RPG as its like inFAMOUS and GTA (RPG). the role playing is more of taking on an already made character or characters and playing out their life on this island a lot of games are now using these engines where you can actually change big events to have a different out come like killing a main character which is all part of this genre of RPG your final out come of this game maybe different then someone elses

I like a good zombie game, not much into the RPG aspect though. I'll give it a shot if a demo comes out on Xbox live.

A lot of my friends have this game and they all love it. It's a bit buggy though so there have been a few patches to fix some of the glitches. I'll wait until they work out all the kinks before I give it a go.

A friend at work brought in his copy of the PC game for me to try. Good graphics, but man it's freaking hard. I'd probably have an easier time playing if I had a 360 controller to play it with rather than the keyboard.
Too many buttons to remember, and you get ganged up on a lot by zombies. By the time I figure out what button to use to get away, I'm already dead. At least with a controller I could mash buttons. Hard to do that on a keyboard. Only played it a little so far, but to me, it's very frustrating at the moment.

Lol Lee. I do that a lot in games like Cold Fear and Dead Space. Love how scary they are, but not my kinda games figuring out how to play them wise. I love horror and all, but I don't have a chance in this game...maybe I'll buy a wired controller for it. Way better at Madden. That, I can play.

I've never been good at any games with fighting. Whether boxing or with weapons and all, just suck at them. That's why I always like to get the game for pc, so I can cheat, lol. Just for the first time through, a little unlimited ammo.
But that's not even working in this game. The RPG part, is you go on missions and you have to find money, either on dead people or in suitcases and all, to buy weapons and upgrades. You get XP for every zombie you kill, and you increase in levels and the missions get harder. I can't seem to pull off the fury attack. Very frustrating game on a keyboard.

I'm only average at fighting games, but I can at least say I'm better than my friends so I win most of the matches lol. The only fighter I button mash on is Soul Caliber, but that's because every character has about 1,000 moves so just hitting stuff is easier than remembering so many different button combos.
I'm probably going to borrow this from a friend and see how I like it. Saw some videos of the gameplay and it seemed appealing to me. Not a fan of RPG elements myself, but considering it's got zombies I can probably manage.

My wife is going to pick up a wired 360 controller for me today when she's out, that should make it a lot easier. Probably help in my Alice game too. Let you know how it goes.
