Any fans here? I used to be a big time wrasslin fan, lol. Back in the day though. I used to love Bruno Sammartino, Superstar Billy Graham and Bob Backlund when I was a kid.
Wrestling was great back then, and in the NWA days. Flair and Dusty Rhodes were icons back then. What about you guys? You ever get into it?

i used to watch it in the early nineties. as soon as the bell rang for a match my aunts doberman used to go mental. ;D
but when i was a kid, there was a programme called world of sport on tv on a saturday afternoon and they used to put wrestling on. we had characters called big daddy, giant haystacks and kendo nakasagi. the good old days.

OH YEA! i use to have those old action figures that only stayed in one position, none of there limbs would move (hardly looked like the superstar) i use to love Wrestling when it was something of icons basically watching these larger than life people battle for good and evil as people cheered them on the persona's had you hooked "junkyard dog, jake The snake, the Dead Man, heartbreak kid, british bulldog. the list goes on but now its just something i can't find myself watching without wondering am i the only male watching this soap opera?

Bumping for the few of us recent additions who want to talk the business.
Just in case, 'cause you know I'm still a fan, Dave.

I know you are, and thanks for bumping it. Have to post the video of Muraco eating a meatball sub while he squashes some jobber. Great stuff, especially when Albano slips on it.

wrestling from the 70s and 80s was really awesome. You should have seen the episode of Championship Wrestling?? where Backlund did the Harvard Step Test the entire hour. Matches going on, and over there is Backlund walking up and down 3 steps for the entire hour. It was funny as hell, cause the camera would cut to a certain angle, and you had forgotten about Backlund. But, there he'd be in the shot, and I was like, what is he doing?
