Beginning October 1st, a remastered and restored version of 1978's horror classic Halloween will begin showing in select theaters around the world. "John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN premiered on October 25th, 1978, not in Los Angeles with a big event at Mann’s Chinese Theater - instead it opened in Kansas City. It did quite well there and opened up in Chicago, and then earned showings in New York. From there, it had a platform release across the country, playing in different cities at different times. Over 35 years later, the movie has made its money back more than 200 times! This earned it the title of the most successful independent horror movie of all time. It’s one of the most successful independent flicks overall, behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Blair Witch Project." More info and a list of movie dates and locations can be found here. Scott and Tomas, it is coming to NYC.

I'm half tempted only I'd have to go to a neighboring town. Despite being on a Friday night, It's getting back as I don't drive.
That said, [Being an 80's child) it would give me the chance to do something I've never done before, and that's see this film in the cinema!
