Interesting read, but the people that committed these crimes were already either going to do what they did or were psychotic to begin with.
I hate the stupid ish oh this song or artist made me do it. The music may have gotten them more fired up about it, because let's face it... there are some dark lyrics in a lot of these songs. But for all that, they're still only songs telling stories.
These people were going to do what they did regardless of what they were listening to IMO.

Yeah, so let's blame a song. I love Manson but I have no idea how I could physically be your tourniquet in real life. Guess I could loan you my belt, but as far as me being it, I don't know.

He seems to have really lightened up on the Manson crazy act in recent years. Saw an interview with him recently and he was very intelligent and well spoken.
I have to admit though, Antichrist Superstar is still my favorite album of his. The videos were awesome too.

The actual phrase, though not as said above, was uttered by Charles "Tex" Watson to Wojciech "Voytek" Frykowski. Actual quote: "I'm the devil, I'm here to do the devil's business.
