Not that I wasn't expecting this at some point, with the lifestyle she lived. But, I didn't think it would happen at age 27. Shame, if she could have straightened up, she could have had a nice career in front of her. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14262237

Really, it's a shame that someone that young just couldn't get past the demons that plagued her. She paid the ultimate price for her addictions. Condolences to her family.
In her case, I think fame meant she didn't have to worry about how to pay for her drugs anymore. Sad.

I heard this and so many people said this was so sad she died at 27 she was so young my response was there is a good list of people that died at 27 due to drugs and acohol even several rockers I think hendrix is on that list but may be wrong I know cobain is but wasn't a fan of his music but still even if these people would have ceaned up they would probably die at a young age still I'm talking before their late 40's due to heart failure with the stress and damage done and very active life styles it just makes the heart give out... when you have an addiction you have to replace it with something that isn't dangerous and so hard for others to except. I won't say I will miss her music since I never listened to any of it but it is sad she couldn't stop even when everyone around her said so
