Vincent Prince is very memorable in this and the sequel. The Vulnavia character is interesting, what exactly is she? She appears to be some sort of spirit, not actually human.

You know, I never really thought about it, but I guess she is some sort of spirit. I really like the two Dr. Phibes movies, think the whole cast is great.

This one was not so good. Still liked it, any Svengoolie show is pretty good, but the movie itself...I wouldn't see it again.

I enjoyed it a lot, as NDX said it really is a classic. I knew Robby the Robot appeared in The Invisible Boy a year later (1958), but he has been in many other things over the decades. He is iconic. Let's start a robot thread!

There's a very similar looking robot in a Twilight Zone episode titled Uncle Simon. I liked the movie more than I remembered, and it was pretty cool to see a young Leslie Nielsen, before he was doing the comedies.
EDIT: As it turns out, according to IMDB it is Robby the Robot in the Twilight Zone episode although it looks slightly different in the face to me.
