In 1962 my neighbor, Joey Abbenda took the Mr. America title and Mr. Universe title in 1963. I used to love to watch him work out in his yard. Me and the other neighborhood kids always pestered him to pick us up and hoist us up like weights over his head and he occasionally indulged us. I guess that's where my interest in body building and wrestling began. I still have my old Frank Zane tee shirt, probably a collectors item today.
Here are some real life current "Incredible Hulks."

I used to be really big into weight lifting back when I was 18 or so. Always at the gym. Nowhere near the size of these guys or anything, but I definitely get the rush that lifting gives you and how you can come to get "addicted" to that feeling. Then the company I worked for at the time won a trip to Barbados and I went for 2 weeks, and I just lost my mojo when I got back. Still try to work out at least 3 times a week with DDP Yoga or something, but never really got into weights again. I'm always very impressed with the size these guys can achieve, especially the ones that do it without steroids.
