I already have 1 thru 8 and Vs in BD, but this set just looks fantastic and has the one movie I don't have, Jason Goes To Hell.
I want this.

Definitely a nice set, but $160 is too much for me.

About 10 bucks a movie. I think that's reasonable when breaking it down.

Yeah, it's not a bad price. But I already have them all between DVD and digital, just can't justify buying it. It would be a great collectors item though. Maybe if I were doing better money wise.

I get ya there. Especially in the current climate gotta prioritize. I was gonna hit up the Half Price Criterion sale this month at B&N but my microwave crapped out on me so I have to figure that out first.

A lot of really great new extras on there, plus it'll be nice to finally have Jason X on blu, especially since my DVD just randomly crapped out on me. And I guess Jason Goes to Hell will be good to have as well, since every few years i put it on to remind myself how much i hate it

That's the spirit! Hate buy that Jason 9 movie!
I still haven't seen it so this set is perfect for me. While I already have the first 8 and VS on BD, this is just a really slick set that I just want to own, plain and simple.

Meant to touch back on this a year and a half or so ago, but how do like the set? I've seen a few second hand that seem fair priced, but I have them all so...is it worth getting?
Oh, did you ever get a microwave? Hope so.

It's a lovely set. The footage looks great, some nice new features. If you have the BD set of the first 8, there's not a huge difference. But if you don't and have the means to upgrade and get it ALL, I say do it. And yes, I got a microwave. For Hanukkah.

Not him, but we tend to have similar views on this. It would be a good movie if it wasn't a Jason flick. Where was Jason? I wanted Jason. I needed Jason. Not Jason wearing people suits.
