One of the best workers and all around nice guys of the wrestling business has passed away. "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton was a long time member of The Midnight Express with both Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane first in the Mid-South area and then rising to fame in the NWA and WCW.
I was always a huge fan of Bobby Eaton, always thought he was a great worker and moved so seamlessly in the ring. He was such a good worker that guys referred to wrestling him as a night off. I always felt that he was underrated and thought of as a just a "tag team" guy, but he could certainly work a great singles match and on occasion, carry it. Most guys loved finding out he was the guy they'd wrestle that night.
His wife passed at the age of 62 as well earlier in the year and Eaton had suffered heart issues and a fall in July that he sustained injuries from. No word yet on the official cause of death.
R.I.P. Bobby Eaton, myself and many more of your fans will miss you a great deal.
