In the United Kingdom, during lockdown, a man was sighted in Falkirk, Scotland, walking around dressed as a plague doctor. He terrified several small children. From a Scottish newspaper (The Daily Record) dated 19 March 2021: A person spotted walking around parts of Falkirk dressed as a 17th Century plague doctor, reportedly leaving families terrified, has been spoken to by police. The first bizarre sighting happened almost two weeks ago in Bo’ness, and since then, others have taken to social media to report similar haunting figures have been spotted in Grangemouth and Redding. www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/falkirk-plague-doctor-given-advice-23724624An example of the costume:

Probably one of the most terrifying masks, especially given the context and how and when it was used. So with everything going on today it's probably a shock to someone walking down the road wearing this. Even kids who don't know about the plague would be scared just of the costume and someone wearing it in broad daylight and it not being Halloween.
I don't think the police could really do anything about it, I guess get him for being a public nuisance maybe. Probably just asked him to stop and told him he was upsetting people and that it's a not cool thing to do.
