I didn't see a thread on these. Apologies if one exists. I saw this by accident when I was browsing Marie Antoinette: Ejector head Marie Antoinette action figure. Just like the real thing! List bizarre and horrific items, or just plain bad, you know, that are linked to films/books/real events. In fact anything that catches your fancy.

Love this kind of stuff!! As kid growing up in the 70's and reading Famous Monster magazine and the horror comics all the time, I always saw awesome ads for all types of things. Aurora had a great line of monster models, some were even glow in the dark. One year at Christmas, after I had bugged her to death about it all year long, my Mom got me the Dick Smith Monster Make Up Kit for Christmas. It was real deal, you made the jelly molds and applied them with spirit gum and them applied the make-up. You could turn yourself into Frankenstein's monster, Mr. Hyde, all kinds of stuff. You could even just mold a bullet hole and spirit gum it to your forehead, add some blood and bam! All done. Loved that kit. My Mom probably didn't, it was pretty messy, especially for a kid. But man, was it fun. Keep the pics coming, love them!

I actually have some horror collectibles, if I'm ever not feeling lazy I'll post pics. I have 2 of the Zuni fetish dolls from Trilogy of Terror, the freak from Castle Freak, Henrietta from Evil Dead 2, Nathan Grantham from the Creepshow segment Father's Day, Neegan's bat from The Walking Dead, Lucille, various Hellraiser puzzle boxes and skulls. Lots of skulls.
Oh, and my Evil Dead wallet that my wife got me for Christmas a few years back. Some other stuff here and there. Need to post pics.

If I found one of these at a con I'd buy it instantly. I was at a con and @gore police and I came across a rare as hell Dr. Phibes figurine. One of us was gonna walk away with that no matter once. I happily lost that battle because I knew it was going to a good home.

Perhaps you are browsing this thread and know some really cool ones, or maybe you owned some of these yourself. Why don't you make a profile, then you could post and tell us about them. Your profile is anonymous, so don't be shy!

I remember the Shrunken Heads kit, but I was never really into that too much. I liked making myself into a monster, lol. Why I loved the monster make up kit so much. But, aside from being really messy, you ran out of supplies pretty quickly with no way to get more except to buy another kit. That was out since I assume it was moderately expensive.

I love hearing these sort of memories. Maybe we will find other old toys and stuff which will remind people of their youth.

This is an odd thing linked to Ghostbusters that a relative told me about. A ghost can given away with a burger restaurant meal. In the UK it was given away in a burger chain called Wimpy, which differs from the USA one. You got a certificate with it. I don't know if the USA had something like this. www.ad-informatica.com/davideandreani/pic_coke_singleghost.htm

Never had these but I was friends with kids that did. Not my thing, but they were OK.

The 90s version of creepy crawlers was essentially a repurposed Easy Bake Oven. Even though it's a pretty stupid kid even I saw the similarities from the commercials. That ish was a lot of fun to play with as a kid though, not gonna lie.
