Charles Bowers was a silent comedian who also did stop-motion animation. He was forgotten until quite recently, and his work is now held in high regard.
I'll put up some of his comedies soon.

I have to say I've never seen any of his comedies, so we will find out what they are like together!

I love stop motion movies. A lot of folks say it detracts from the movie/show, but I really think it adds to it. I really find it interesting as it's the beginning of the special effects we see today.
And sometimes, the stop motion is better.
