Tis the season to be Jolly...and of course the perfect season for ghosts and frights! List Horror Movie suggestions for the festive period below. I'm sure you know many with a Christmas/seasonal theme. Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.

My favorite is Santa's Slay. Just a fun little comedy slasher.

My favorites of the Christmas horror films are probably the original Black Christmas from 1974 with John Saxon and Margot Kidder, the original Silent Night, Bloody Night with John Carradine, and there is also Don't Open 'Til Christmas, which is like Silent Night, Deadly Night meets Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer. I also love the classic Silent Night, Deadly Night series, along with Krampus 2015 and A Christmas Horror Story with William Shatner. I also like Krampus 2013, a fan of the 1970s grindhouse style format.

Christmas Evil. I didn't like it originally because I expected more of a Silent Night, Deadly Night slasher, which it isn't. It's more of a guy's slow descent into madness, which is more creepy than violent, but equally good. Plus, that ending is bonkers!

It also has a lot of other eye opening scenes! Did you ever see "Don't Open 'Til Christmas?" It's kind of like "Silent Night, Deadly Night" meets "Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer."

I did see Don't Open Till Christmas many years ago, so I don't remember it too well. Gonna have to give it another watch eventually
