So, yeah. This is what's been happening on a few other Proboards sites: I would like to throw this out in the open so that no one else suffers what my members did. If you have anyone under the name of Kim, Jake, Drake, and Frank, or at least those are the names we had come across, and they send every member a pm, DO NOT OPEN IT!!! We have come across two sites so far that have had this happen. The pm's we got were from Kim, title Happy Thanksgiving, and from Jake, title I need some friends, help me. The contents are the same in each, and they are some of the most disturbing images on the internet. I have an extremely strong stomach and they bothered me, sooo.... They are also using the link of the last site they did it to on the new site and saying they own that site. And in our cbox pretending to be all the members. He has done it to two sites that we know of so far. And sends the pm to every account and plays in the cboxes and then quits the site. I would like to send out this warning so that people know that if you can't handle something disturbing and disgusting, DO NOT OPEN THE PM IF THIS GUY COMES TO YOUR SITE!!! Update: They used members emails to make accounts, tried changing emails, etc. So, don't open a PM from anyone you don't know, unless he's using a name you know. Then, of course, you'd be expected to open it so I guess you're screwed either way, lol. I wonder what pics he's posting...Anyway, don't need it here. So, if someone fishy pops up and you get a PM from them, I'd advise not opening it. To avoid whatever he's posting and just to piss him off with no reaction. |

I think if this person or persons were going to hit us, they would have by now. Still, stay on guard just to be safe.

where's goth when you need her ? Guess she's busy enforcing the law on another site at the moment. I see her from time to time on the ProBoards support site, and I always want to say something to her, but I always end up thinking better of it. |

The more people that know, the better prepared everyone will be. And, yes, if she comes back I think we all have a warm welcome waiting for her, lol. |

depends on what they are I suppose. it says disturbing, but disturbing how? as in gory crime scene?? want constitutes as disturbing depends on the person really

Meh, I've probably seen it already at some point. I think the big deal on the Proboards support site for most is that they aren't...accustomed to graphic images, be it gore or whatever.
I probably wouldn't have batted an eye if I had gotten one of these PM's, but I was a mod on a gore site for a bit.
As you said Ali, different for everyone, but I am curious as well as to what pic(s) they are.
