"Jack In The Box" is a British horror film that begins with the uncovering of a buried jack in the box out in an open field. It turns out to have evolving letters on top of the box that rotate to spell Jack in order for its handle to come out to turn and have the Jack In The Box pop out, only this is not your toy Jack In The Box. A full grown man of a creepy clown then crawls out to get his selected victim. It also goes to an ancient French myth about the Jack In The Box being built to conceal evil entities, and whoever frees him has to be the one to trap him back in there, otherwise he will kill his six selected victims with nothing and nobody being able to stop him. If that person is able to trap him back in the box, there still has to be nothing from inside the box left out or he will still get back out to get the rest of his victims. Overall, this is some scary stuff for just an independent horror film in similar traditions to the Hellraiser, Candyman, and Wishmaster series. It also has a lot of eye opening twists, turns, and shockers near the end. The visuals are also very well done for just an independent horror film. I definitely will check out its sequel when I get the chance.
