"The Flying Serpent" is a black and white monster movie from 1946, about Q, who is supposed to be part bird and part serpent, believed to have been an Ancient Aztec god, and has been discovered by an archeologist who also discovered an ancient Aztec treasure in the same caverns. He uses Q to fly out and kill anybody who comes close to also finding those caverns so they do not also discover and get any of the ancient treasure by placing one of Q's feathers on or near them, then releasing Q from the caverns. A radio murder mystery solving team then comes to town, wanting to take a shot at solving the bizarre murders of the people Q killed, and they turn out to be better at solving mysteries than a lot of people think. This is overall well done, more so for being from 1946, and the mystery solvers definitely make it all the more entertaining. It should definitely appeal to those into the old black and white monster movies.

I enjoyed George Zucco's performance in this. He is an actor I'm going to watch more of.
