The scariest movie I ever saw was the “Night of the Living Dead”.

I too have become sort of jaded with all the things I've seen. What's funny is movies that aren't really supposed to be scary freak me out.
Eraserhead is a movie that totally screws with your head, especially at the end with the puffy cheek woman tap dancing on fall fetuses and that giant head thing. What makes it even creepier to me is that you don't really know why any of this stuff is happening.
One movie that scared the hell out of me when I was younger was the remake of The Thing. That part at the beginning with the dog gave me horrible nightmares.

The Thing, the 1982 Carpenter version, is one of my all time favorites. Great flick.
Lee, I just noticed the smiley you added to the spammers post...brilliant man!! Really great, lol.

I still don't like swimming in water I can't see through. I want to know what's down there with me. I don't swim in pools either, because people always pee in them. Summer sucks for me. It's my tub or nothing.

I wouldn't call it the scariest movie I've seen, but if might have been the biggest mindfreak I've experienced... Eraserhead. Holy crap, this one had me messed up by the end of it. Didn't help I watched it in total darkness at 3 in the morning with a bad headcold.

I always thought that was the one with Arnold and Vanessa Williams in it. That's freaky? I need to check it out.

Watch both. Most Arnold movies are worth sitting through. I'd like it on dvd eventually, to join my Arnold collection.

The scariest movie I've ever seen was The Exorcist. It is extremely suspenseful and has many twists. I totally recommend it.
