Oh, I would love that copy of Jedi, mine is all fakked up because of, well, me trying to fix the book. Sorta why I stopped reading it.

im impressed. my sister runs a salvation army store near me and they refuse to sell any videos/dvds or books with an 18 rating, or that goes against the christian religion in any way. magic is a big no-no (they wont even sell harry potter), as is anything to do with paganism, ghosts or the supernatrual. That you were able to buy the Entity in your neck of the woods is pretty cool.

I've never purchased books or movies from "thrift shops" I usually pick up laptops or flat screens "broken" but kinda stopped since I moved to a not so good neighborhood

I walked out of the SA today with a copy of Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. On blu-ray. For 76 cents.
And it looks very, very pretty.

A blu-ray dvd for $.76?? That's a pretty sweet deal. I gotta get to one of these places. Maybe on my next day off if I ever have one again.

Well, in 6 months you'll be in my neck of the woods for Avengers, so then would work. They should have new stuff by then.

What does she do with all of them? the staff take them if they want them. or they get chucked out in the trash. I think they have recently allowed harry potter for the simple fact that an original first edition copy of one of the book s was discovered in one of the SA stores, and was auctioned for many thousends of pounds, So now they know its a money spinner, they are allowed to be sold
