First half of The Dry. (got a recap of the rest from the hubby)
It was interesting, I just wasn't in the mood to watch TV.

Eternals
I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this. While not the comics I remember from Kirby, this wasn't a bad flick. I didn't feel bored.
There are a few gripes, of course. Celestials looking, well, boring compared to their comic counterparts. Adapting the Sleeping Celestial storyline by Gaiman but only having him partially emerge (in the comics he loomed over San Francisco waiting to judge humanity). Kro, the unnamed Deviant, was a waste. And they killed the easily best Eternal midway through the film. Gotta try Gil's spit beer.
I like that they teased Dane Whitman's Black Knight, but I was hoping for more there. I guess in the Blade series.
A shame the media focused only on diversity and sexuality when covering this movie because there is a lot of good in it. I wonder if Disney will continue with these characters after the film essentially bombed.

Ben. It's actually some scary and creative stuff for just a made for TV horror film from the early 1970s. It's about a rat who befriends a bullied child, summoning his fellow wild rats to jump and kill the bullies, also to jump and kill other people for food. Michael Jackson also sang the theme for that film before he became famous and popular.

I just discovered a couple more classics. One being "Castle Of The Living Dead" with Christopher Lee, which is about a similar scientist to Dr. Frankenstein trying to discover the secrets of life and death, having a traveling freakshow stay at his castle, secretly wanting to experiment on them. It is overall well done and different from most of the black and white horror movies. It also has one of the most bizarre performances from Christopher Lee. The other is "Danger: Diabolik," which is not a horror film but directed by Mario Bava. It is similar to the classic James Bond movies, only about a criminal genious outwitting the law and Italian government with a spoiled rich girlfriend. Those who like the classic James Bond movies will probably love this film. It is very well done in every aspect there is.

The last non-horror movie I saw is a look back at the 1980s sci-fi classic, "Masters Of The Universe," with Dolph Lundren and Frank Langella, bringing He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe to live action! This was a technical flop that most people who actually saw it liked it, which is not too uncommon nowadays like maybe before. I love the costumes they used for both Skeletor and the Beastman, along with the great action and staged combat. There is also plenty of good humorous dialogue, and they developed all of the main characters overall well. It is always a fun flashback to the 1980s!

I never saw this. Never a He-Man fan as a kid. Now, give me a movie where Ultra Man and Giant Robot team up and I'm in!

I tend to watch it every few years.

So I Married An Axe Murderer Great hilarious comedy about a young guy falling in love with a female butcher whom he suspects might be a serial killer, also with Mike Myers playing two different roles, and really delivering as both!

Yes, it does hold up better than a lot of other films from that era, including some that technically did better back then!

The Adam Project
Loved it, though I'm never disappointed by anything Ryan Reynolds does. 😁 the casting was really great in this and it had a perfect mix of comedy, a tragically powerful love story, and intrigue.

Deep Impact
Been a loooooooooong time since I've seen this. Forgot how emotional it got in parts.
The 1998 CGI shows at the end, though.
