Half of Escape from Cell Block 13. Somehow I got 48 minutes into and it was trash. What I remember of it at least. Not Charles Bronson is complete ish at his job. I just saw the cover art and wow,if you showed me that I would have sworn it was Charles Bronson. Godzilla Minus One. Officially my favorite movie of the year, and may just be the best Godzilla movie ever made.

I finally got to see the 1910 silent version of "A Christmas Carol." It tells a little different story from the book and most other version with only one Christmas ghost and Jacob Marley, but it is still, to the point, and overall well done, more so for being from 1910. Those who like that story should find that version worth a look for at least one time.

I finally got to see the black and white Christmas classic from 1946, "A Miracle On 34th Street." It is about a Santa Claus and his lawyer friend ending up having to convince his employer along with a Judge and Jury that he is the real deal. Sure, it is just comedy fantasy, but it is funny and touching and overall very well done. It is overall a good classic that is worth a look for this time of year.

With now having access to YouTube TV, and not just the basic site anymore, I was finally able to see the Spider_man movies from my childhood in DVD quality, despite they are not available on DVD. It was my first time seeing those in over ten years, and it was definitely fun looking back at those, and amazing to see them in DVD quality. It was also the theatrical cuts, where the stories make much better sense than in the made for TV cuts, that lost some informative scenes due to the time frame including all those commercial breaks, causing the stories to not make as much sense anymore. I definitely clicked on the longer cuts so I could see the entire stories to those, and it was also fun seeing the now late Fred Waugh doing some high risk and impressive stunt work and staged combat again.

I just found a crime drama directed by the Italian giallo horror master, Sergio Martino called "Upper Hand Man," only this is not quite a horror film. It is about an up and coming boxer who finally gets matches booked through a gangster who has his connections on the inside, and eventually earns a title shot. The deal goes bad when the gangster wants him to throw a fight against an underdog who really has no chance of winning so he can collect off of the many people betting on him. When the crowd catches on about the fight being rigged, he begins to fight for real and knocks out the underdog in little to no time. After the gangster then wants vengeance for all that money he lost, things really get ugly, and all hell really begins to break loose. This is overall a very good intense crime drama with lots of twists, turns, and eye opening scenes. There is also plenty of great action and suspense. It is definitely not what you might normally expect from Sergio Martino, but it should still appeal to those into crime dramas.
