You know what's great about December? A lot of things!! It's the holiday time and everyone is doing their Christmas shopping and spending time with family and all of that. And, I love Christmas. But, you know what I love more? Well, the 13 Days of Creepmas of course!!
Not familiar with the 13 Days of Creepmas? Well, let me explain it. For the first 13 days of December we watch a horror movie a day to let everyone know that if Christmas is gonna invade the Halloween season, well, then we're gonna give it right back! Plus it's a good excuse to watch more horror movies, and that's always a good thing!! Join us starting December 1st in putting the scare into Santa!

I'm starting to feel movie fatigue. But I WILL do my best to get in on this! I hear that man, kinda why I didn't do Animated August.

The way I'm feeling lately, though, I'm gonna need a mental escape. I'll make it work,

Have we overdone it? Was the addition of Animated August too much? Just asking because that's the only thing that's changed. Or is it all too much? We've participated in Creepmas and the 31 Nights for years, like to keep that going, but also want to work out any issues if it's overkill.

I think in general it's a lot. But I regret nothing, and while there are days I just straight skip I enjoy using my weekends to catch up on. Not that I have much else to do.

Pretty much what Scott said. Some days you just don't feel like watching anything, or maybe you're busy with work, life, whatever the case is, so you take a few days off. Luckily, I think a good portion of movies we watch can cross over, so they fit into sci-fi, horror, and action.
Overall, I think December is the best month because it's the most lenient, and I know we all always have something we haven't seen yet.

It's a long run, I mean it starts in August now and full on until January. That's a lot of movies and I get it. Being a horror forum, the ones that mean the most to me are The 31 Nights of Halloween and Creepmas. Don't get me wrong, I love the other movie marathons, but those two are the most important to me.
You can always opt out of a month or whatever, no hard feelings. I just don't want people getting sick of watching and saying screw it, I'm done. It shouldn't be a chore, it should be fun. If it isn't anymore, maybe we need to talk about some going or at least being spaced out so we're not beating ourselves to death with movies.
Certainly open to any suggestions. I just want it to be fun. If it isn't, then what's the point?
With that...
1. Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971) 2. Horror of Dracula (1958) 3. Trilogy of Terror (1975)
